AARON CROWLEY

East View High School

Aaron Crowley's recent roles include Tin Man in East View's production of "The Wizard Of Oz" and Hoss in the Georgetown Palace Theater's production of "Hank Williams: The Lost Highway." Other shows include, “Beauty and the Beast” at East View, and “Spamalot” “Shrek: the Musical,” both at the Georgetown Palace Theater. This year has been Aaron’s first in choir, and second performing in musicals. Aaron is grateful for all the support and assistance from everyone in the East View Fine Arts program. Having just started performing in musicals, I would never have believed I would get an opportunity like this, and I’d like to give a big thank you to the Angel Fountain Educational Endowment, and our five performers, for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

MICHAELA NEWMAN

Georgetown High School

Michaela Newman is honored and excited to be performing in On Broadway! She has been a member of both the choir and musical theatre program for four years. Her favorite past roles include "Miss Adelaide" in Guys and Dolls and "Ursula" in The Little Mermaid, for which she was nominated Best Leading Actress by the Greater Austin High School Musical Theatre Awards. This fall, Michaela will attend the University of Texas at Austin to study International Relations and Global Studies in the Liberal Arts Honors Program. She would like to thank her parents, Mrs. B, and JLow for their abundance of love and support throughout her high school career. She would also like to express her deep gratitude for the amazing professionals that took the time out of their busy schedules to bring Broadway to Georgetown!

DANIELLE PAYNE

Georgetown High School

Danielle is the daughter of Dan and Dovie Payne.  She is very excited and thankful for the opportunity to perform in this Broadway showcase!  Danielle has performed in Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Little Mermaid, and many productions with the GHS Choir.  She is a veteran performer of the Show Choir’s annual production, Holiday to Remember, the annual school talent show, and sings throughout the community.   Danielle is proud to be a member of the GHS Health Occupations Students of America program. Danielle will be attending Texas State University this fall and plans to double major in Nursing and Vocal Performance.  She would like to thank her friends and family for all the support and love throughout her journey, as well as giving a personal thank you to the Broadway stars who have taken the time out of their busy schedules to give us this once in a life time opportunity.

ALEX POOLE

East View High School

Alex Poole is extremely excited to perform alongside Broadway stars. Alex has been performing in various groups and competitions for the past four years and plans to attend the Boston Conservatory this fall, pursuing his passion of musical theatre. Alex would like to thank his parents for always supporting him, his directors for their constant guidance, and everyone that has been a part of his high school career for making it an unforgettable experience.  I am extremely grateful to be working with people who share the same passion at the professional level as me. I am very grateful to all five performers, and the Angel Fountain Educational Endowment, for the amazing opportunity that is not only helping me grow, but is a memory I will cherish forever.

DASHAWN WILLIAMS

East View High School

DaShawn Williams is an exciting young performer and sings both classically and musical theatre style. Mr. Williams has appeared in many shows including Beast from "Beauty and the Beast", Marius from " Les Miserables", Lion from "Wizard of Oz", and in the Opera "Aida" for the Austin Lyric Opera company. Mr. Williams has also competed and won many solo classical and musical theatre singing competitions and has gained national recognition three times. He would like to thank all of his peers, teachers, and family for their support of him and the fine arts. Mr. Williams will be going to school at the University of Michigan or Texas State to study vocal performance or musical theatre but plans on having a lasting career doing both interchangeably.  This a huge opportunity for me, and words cannot express the amount of happiness I feel to be able to work with such esteemed professionals. Thank you to the five Broadway performers, and to the Angel Fountain Educational Endowment.

TREY MOFFETT

East View High School

Trey Moffett has been acting and singing since 2009, upon his family's return from the mission field in Europe. Pulling from the diversity of many different cultures, he's developed quickly as a dancer, actor, and a singer/rapper. He has appeared in two Christian Films (Internationally Distributed), many plays and several national TV Commercials. He has recently been nominated for Best Featured Performer at the GAHSMTA Awards. (Greater Austin High School Musical Theatre Awards).
